I was pulling glasses out if the cabinet today and was admiring a few of my favorites. I have some pretty dishes that my mom and hubby both have bought me but they are seldom used. Guess I am keeping them for special occasions. We all talk and look for the "make do" stuff that we all adore. The meaning of this was and is "to manage to get along with the means available is make do, or get along with." I so love many of the things that I really don't have to use and can't quite put my finger on why it is that I love these silly things. These glasses are not old and were given to me by a friend who made us some Apple Butter. I would rather drink from these than anything along with an old Mason Jar. I don't know why but I love them. Remember when jelly came in the cute little jars with different things on them? I might still have some of these in my shop come to think of it. Anyway....another simple thing I love and who knows why.......Sunny here today and it sure was pretty...

Evening Vicki, just like me.......I had found a set of those sweet glasses at a yard sale, bought all six....., one still had the fruit label on it, they just make me happy......Enjoy Francine.

I'm a collecter of nice little jars too. I make lemon curd in them, for gifts. Your's are very pretty and could be used for all sorts of things around the house. Too nice to be hiding in a cupboard. Sue
