A New Look

We have been thinking and rethinking and talking on changes maybe for the shop in the next few months.... I/we LOVE the old general store look and everything about it...Maybe it is because it reminds us so much of simpler days and a slower paced life. Very comforting whatever the reason. If we had our way about it the floors would be old and creaky and it would have the old store theme all the way through.... The old musty smell, old pop machines, old coolers with food in them,baskets of candy and fruit for sale, rocking chairs and games set up,old counters,etc....I was reading several definitions of a general store.... One read like this..... general merchandise store, general dealer or village shop is a rural or small town store that carries a general line of merchandise. It carries a broad selection of merchandise, sometimes in a small space, where people from the town and surrounding rural areas come to purchase all their general goods..... Isn't it interesting to read this sort of stuff?
