Today is my birthday and I have a special wish. My hubby asked me what I want to do today and I responded with "nothing"... Might work in the shop some or not.... He took the day off and we will enjoy it even if we do nothing..... I think it is so nice to have days where nothing is planned sometimes don't you? We have been busy and on the go and I am quite happy to stay home. If I could make a wish today for my birthday it would be that all the people we know who are having health problems be better and their health issues go away. Gosh it seems like there is so much of this right now.... As I have said many times if we don't have our health nothing else matters much does it. Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone was healthy and there was no sickness. SO....For my birthday today I want everyone to get better.... I have everything I need and say this all the time. We have a warm home,food, etc....Isn't it funny that the older we get the less we seem to want. Maybe we are just more content with what we have...Anyway this is my wish for today..I am saying extra prayers for everyone. I hope you are all feeling well. I will be having a quiet day and enjoying it. Have a wonderful day everyone. I send you all warm wishes,positive thoughts, and a big hug.

Hi Vicki...I haven't been the best at reading blog posts lately. So glad I stopped here! I hope you have a very happily blessed quiet birthday at home with your hubby. I agree with you...I see quiet days at home as a blessing, or at least a respite from our frantic life. :) Thank you also for the wellness wishes. Vicki, Happy birthday a day late. I call that just "being" and I think we all need it. I think we are wiser as we age and don't need our ego's stroked nor things to make us happy. We KNOW what is important.Right?
