I know it has been a while since I have been on here so I thought it is time! So busy these days as it seems everyone is. Helping with my mother, my 99 year old grandmother, and just day to day things. Time is flying by don't you think? Almost the end of July already! We are now a part of the Country Neighbors' Tour so we now have 3 open house's a year instead of 2. I have not been "as good" with my shop hours lately but this can't be helped. My family is more important to me and people know they can call and make an appt. anytime so hope I don't have too many people mad at me. Let's see.... Been working in the gardens and loving this. I find this very relaxing and calming to say the least. I hope everyone is having a good Summer and taking some time to relax and enjoy the simple things.

A challenging week so far...Window busted,AC out, and this morning the power went out. As I was taking a shower this morning I was watching the finches on their feeders, had a dove on the top of my cabin looking at me so sweet, and I was admiring my favorite Clematis. My grandmother gave me a piece of this 2 years ago. I so treasure it. With all of this said it is going to be a wonderful day and I know it! Life is good! We are looking forward to our open house this Friday and Saturday and all the nice folks we will see again!

I had one of those days where you have it planned with all the things you want to get done right? Didn't happen but oh well.My brother was in town and we ended up taking my 99 year old grandmother to pick out flowers for her yard. Well.....We figured we might as well plant them for her and she was tickled to death. She had her lawn chair out watched and truly enjoyed it. Mike and I are saying more and more that we are going to focus on the things that really matter...... So what difference does it really make if there are things that don't get done? .....I smiled all afternoon thinking about my granny and what joy this brought her.

We have been so busy as I am sure everyone else has. I was thinking this morning that I really needed to post something new on here. The cats helped me decide of all things. Any of you have cats that like water? Sherman does and runs in to the bathroom any time either of us does and jumps in the tub. SO funny!!!!!!!
