Weekend

Open house was nice and we had some good laughs..... Isn't it funny how events can draw folks? Simple Goods in Ohio was also going on and it draws a huge crowd.... It is one of my favorites for sure..... Thought I would share a few photos with all of you.... I am tired today and taking it easy somewhat..... Hubby threatened me and said I better rest!? ha! He sure knows me...I am not one to just sit though so we shall see...Have a wonderful day...  

                                            

Who Me????????

Kyra has been naughty...If you look closely (or click on the photo to see it better) you will see she has a toy mouse and Blue ball up on this cobblers bench. I asked her what she was doing up on it and she looked at me as if to say "what of it"? I live here too...Cats honestly rule don't they... 

I've Got The Blues

We are trying to clean the yard up and get ready for our Spring open house next week. I am not going to complain but sometimes we do get tired don't we. Anyway don't want to whine....I was thinking that I sure need to update my blog but about what???? So....took a quick look and came up with this. I love Flow Blue dishes and have them displayed in an old cabinet. It might look silly to some but they really display well in an old grungy primitive cabinet. Isn't it funny the different things we all so love. Have a wonderful week everyone. I will try and post some photos as we get close to our open house.  

Busy Busy!!!

We have a gentle rain here this morning and  I love it! Our temps have been warmer and everything is "Greening up". Been very busy with all the normal day to day things plus working in the shop. Lots to do for our open house the end of the month. I wish I could keep up with all the thoughts I have for items and "make-do"s that sound pretty cute to me. I need to write them down and see how many (if any) I can do. By the time I  think about them again I have forgotten what they were? Geez....Anyone else do this? Hope everybody is doing well and have a wonderful day. Good Ole Sunshine!

We have a beautiful  morning here. I have been so busy but was thinking this morning that I need to post something new but what?  Well.....I don't think there is anything prettier than sunlight on something. I love the way it  gently highlights these dresses. So cozy and warm. Warmer temps and sunshine sure make my heart sing.....Have a great weekend everyone.

I am cleaning and washing clothes today among a few other things. We had a really nice Easter. Had my mother over to eat and then I took my grandmother a plate and visited for awhile. She fell last week and broke a wrist or she would have been here with us to eat. She is 98 and very active. She reminds me of an injured little bird with a hurt wing. Sad to watch but I know she will be ok soon. Anyway....hubby knows how busy I have been between trying to help granny some, my mother, the house, and the upcoming Spring open house we have the end of the month. He knows I LOVE Barbecue Fritos. We can't find them around here anymore at all. There are all the new flavors but no Barbecue. Anywhere we would stop at a grocery or "mom & pops" store we would look for them. Last week Fedex delivered a box and guess what it was...Bless his heart he had found them on the internet and got me/us 6 bags along with some dip. I was so excited and we ate almost one bag the first night. He mentioned yesterday that we are a pair and we sure are. As the saying goes "it takes two" and we are so lucky to have each other. We not only look out for one another but we love to do little things such as this for one another. As I have said many times it is the little simple things that matter. I hope he knows how much I appreciate and love him. Guess what I will be snacking on later today....I better "get my chores done" so I can munch....teehee...
